Hi everyone, I’m Filip! I’m 21 years old and originally from Constanta, Romania. I am currently in my fourth year of Economics & Business Economics. I chose to follow the Business Economics track because it aligns with my passion for finance, a spark that was ignited during the lockdown when I first started exploring the stock market. Outside of my studies, I enjoy the gym, tennis, board games, traveling, and reading stuff on human behavior.
When I joined GIT in my second year, it was admittedly a bit intimidating. I assumed everyone would be an expert compared to me, as I had only treated investing as a hobby. However, joining Team Beta was a turning point. I met incredible, motivated students, and realized that everyone has their own unique starting point.
As Internal Relations Officer, I manage how we connect with our members, but I also lead Team Beta. This intermediate-level team is perfect for those with some experience who want to take their skills further by debating topics and learning from one another.
