Board Members

My name is Lewin Sobek, I am 22 years old, originally from Hamburg, Germany, and currently in my second year of the Bachelor International Business at the University of Groningen. Outside my studies I enjoy playing tennis, going for runs around Groningen and trying out new recipes.

I initially joined GIT as an analyst for Team Beta with some practical experience already, and over time I really valued the learning environment and teamwork. This eventually motivated me to take on a board role in GIT.

I serve as External Relations Officer in the GIT board. My role consists of two main areas: managing relationships with external partners such as sponsors and event hosts, and leading Team Gamma. Team Gamma is our entry-level analyst team where new members build essential capital-markets skills. If you are interested in finance and familiar with capital markets but have not yet gained practical experience, this team offers an ideal starting point.
