Board Members

Hi! My name is Mikhail Plotkin, and I am the Treasurer of the GIT Board.

I am currently studying Economics at the University of Groningen. During my studies, I became actively involved in GIT, where I gained experience in both organisational and financial aspects of student initiatives. This involvement motivated me to take on a board position and contribute to the association at a higher level.

As Treasurer, I am responsible for the financial administration of GIT and overseeing all financial decisions of the association. This includes managing the annual budget, monitoring expenses and revenues, and supporting teams by advising them on financial feasibility. I also work closely with the board to ensure financial sustainability and transparency throughout the year.

In addition to financial responsibilities, I assist in the supervision of teams and contribute to the strategic discussions within the board to ensure that GIT’s activities remain financially sound and well-organised.

I am looking forward to a productive and educational board year and to further strengthening GIT as an association.
